Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week Spring 2015 wrapped up yesterday. It takes me a full weekend to review runway shows online — to absorb the fashion and hone in on the trends that I like and will seek out in Ready-to-Wear next Spring. That said, I love reviewing the hoopla that goes on outside the shows…as outrageous as the outfits have been in past (see NYTimes article, here), overall, the street style vibe seemed laid-back and casual with a simple elegance. I loved it all!
The most gorgeous street style photos I found were taken by photographer, Tommy Ton, whose images truly emulate the energy. I loved seeing Birkenstocks and Adidas sneakers paired with flowy skirts; mono-chromatic dressing and all-white ensembles. But what resonated the most with me, was seeing fashionistas in ripped jeans and cut-off shorts — my own personal wardrobe faves.
