Three things:  David Ortiz.  An Indian.  A miracle.

I’m not pretending that everyone knows what I’m talking about.  I’m talking playoff baseball.  The Red Sox.  Game 2 of the ALCS.  What looked like an impossible win, turned out to be a miracle.  All I can say is David Ortiz is seriously clutch.  Seriously.  A two-out, grand slam to tie in the 8th inning, after 5 innings of what us Red Sox fans feared would be a no-hitter.  If that’s not inspiration, I’m not sure what is.

I believe.

If you want details, read this article in the Chicago Tribune — (I like Shane Victorino’s walk-up song…).  The Indian story, here.  And why playoff baseball is just soo good, from the Washington Post — my favorite line, “Boston means…a $200 seat atop a wall 400 feet from the plate because that’s what you’ve been told you should want to do since birth.”

Oh…and “I believe in miracles…” is from my favorite Audrey Hepburn quote, here.
