It’s official. I will be participating in the Junior League of Boston’s 2012 Show House!
The site of the Junior League’s 35th Show House is the Potter Estate in Newton at 71 Walnut Park. The home was built in 1867 –placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986 — and is a Second Empire/Mansard Victorian, once a convent for the Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston, currently serving as the administrative offices for the Jackson-Walnut Park Schools.
I am thrilled at the opportunity of decorating alongside many talented Boston-area designers, for the ultimate cause of supporting the Junior League’s many charities, and have to thank Estelle Bond Guralnick for alerting me about the event via the Design New England blog.
