Click. Click. Click. Boom! Clicking away at the computer brings on new discoveries. Today, I came across the portfolio of Lucy and Company — a showroom in Charlotte and interior design firm started by Beth Keim.
Lucy and Company’s portfolio is pretty extensive with a lot of rooms to admire, but these three rooms stuck out for me, so I wanted to share.
I love the bold pops of pink, green and orange (three colors) in this bedroom and the mix of classic, traditional pieces with the modern rug, Arne Jacobsen chair and unexpected cornice.
This bedroom has the three bold patterns juxtaposed — the wallpapers on adjacent walls with the ikat fabric on the window treatments.
The three things I love in this room? The grey grasscloth wallpaper, the contrast of the grey-painted french doors, and the unique placement of the pendant light — in lieu of a side table and lamp. I love out-of-the-box thinking, and that just hit home for me! Check out the paired pendant on the other side of the room.
I wish that the Lucy and Company showroom was in my neck of the woods. I’d love to shop there and pick Beth’s brain. The story behind the name of her business is heartwarming and inspiring — a family filled with artists. Read more, here.
