Brimfield Spotlight: The Paint Exchange

The Paint Exchange is currently the only recycled paint manufacturer in the state of Massachusetts.  The company takes latex interior paint that would otherwise go to waste (end up in landfills or pollute our waterways) and they process it into paint for sale.  Click here to learn more and read my original 3R’s feature.

Katharine Brown and Tania Keeble are the team behind this eco-conscious company.  As part of their recycling effort (in addition to selling paint) the two women provide faux finishing, decorative painting, furniture refinishing and design services.  They’ll re-purpose either a piece of furniture you already own, or can source for you as well.

If you’re planning to attend the Brimfield Antique Show – May 10-15th, you can see their work first hand and check out the recycled paint.   Here are photos from the July 2010 show and a sampling of what you can expect to find.

Next week The Paint Exchange booth will be located at Shelton’s B67.   You can follow along with The Paint Exchange and get Brimfield updates on Facebook  and Twitter.
