Kitchen Stools in 3s

A kitchen makes the home.  It’s where the family gravitates to.  It’s where guests congregate (as much as you’d like to navigate them elsewhere).  It’s the most important room in the house and is integral to our lives.  I am starting a series called Kitchen Stools in 3s, as a way to showcase beautiful kitchens and cool stools.  Here are three…

Starting off with Kate Jackson Design – my favorite thing about this kitchen is the modern beams.  Such a fresh, clean look – as opposed to the many white kitchens with coffered ceilings that I’ve been seeing over the past couple of years.  I also love the cabinets with flat-panelled doors and open shelving;  the simple, straight edges of the cabinetry molding;  and the low-back, wood stools with kick plates.  Kate never ceases to amaze me with her talent.

These red stools in a kitchen by Amy Meier, just pop!  Kirsten Krason from 6th Street Design School featured Amy Meier Design back in December here.

Three stools, three different black and white fabrics(!) in one of Anna Spiro’s (of Black & Spiro) client’s home.  Imagine drinking coffee and staring out at that view?  What you can’t see from this photo, is that in the same kitchen, Anna infused her signature bright, bold colors by using multi-colored chairs around the kitchen table and bright, gorgeous fabrics in the window seat.   Take a peek here.
